This website is intended to provide to the public information on Jacob Mark and his business offerings, which included but are not limited to Wim Hof Method Workshops, Life Coaching, Online Programs, and Retreats. This Privacy Policy applies only to the online collection of information from users of this website. Your privacy is of great importance to us and therefore we follow the applicable Canadian legislation as laid out by Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act. The core 10 principals that that PIPEDA has laid out, and which we follow are:

By providing us your personal information you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure as outlined in this Privacy Policy. We will never require you to consent to the use of your personal information beyond what is explicitly communicated to you before or at the time of collection. Further, you always reserve the right to refuse to provide personal information, and also reserve the right to withdraw consent at any time. If you choose to withdraw consent, there may exist limitations based on contractual implications as well as reasonable notice. These limitations will be communicated with you, and we will always work with you to have your desires and needs met in regards to your personal information.

What’s Collected and Why?

We will not collect unneeded information and it will always be used for the sole purpose(s) for which it was collected.

  1. Mailing lists: If you wish to subscribe to one of our mailing lists then we will collect your email address. This is necessary for us to be able to email you the newsletters and communications for which you have subscribed. Note: You may unsubscribe to these mailing lists at any time. Your email will be kept on file in our database solely for tracking purposes, but you will cease to receive communications from us.

  2. Bookings: When you book online for a specific offering (example: guided breathing), we will collect your name, phone number, and email address. This information is only gathered so that we can contact you with any changes/updates to, or information about, your specific booking.

  3. 3rd party websites: You may be redirected to 3rd party websites for various types of bookings (examples: Wim Hof Method Platform, Eventbrite, Acquity Scheduling). Although we only use 3rd party websites that we trust and that share our views on the privacy of your information, we are not responsible for the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information in those sites. We advise you review their specific Privacy Policies prior to providing your personal information.

  4. Cookies: Our website uses cookies. Cookies are simply small bits of information transferred between our website and your computer. The use of cookies is common practice and allows us to track your visit and activity. This allows us to review this information and to create a better product for you in the end. For example, in the event that you fill out information directly on our website, these cookies ensure that when you return your information is stored so that you do not need to in input it again. Or, as another example if you add products into your “shopping cart”, cookies allow you to continue exploring the website while keeping those items in your cart. Otherwise, without cookies your cart would always reset to zero.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

When we make changes to our website, we must also update our Privacy Policy. At the top of this Privacy Policy is included the date of the last time it was updated. Ensure you review this periodically so that you are always kept up to date with any changes.
